The Alpine Loop is a canoe route beginning at the end of the Gunflint Trail and connecting Saganaga Lake, Red Rock Lake, Alpine Lake, and Seagull Lake. It is a popular route, due to its general lack of difficulty and short length. It may be paddled in either direction.

Duration
While it is possible for strong paddlers to complete the circuit in a single day in favorable conditions, most parties take two to three days, more if fishing or relaxing is the main priority.
