Method of Travel: Paddle or motor
Access: Concrete boat landing.
Additional: Motor use OR possession requires an overnight motor permit (25 h.p. maximum). Several trip options to Newton, Basswood and Mud Lakes with additional portages. Storm impacted areas.

Fall Lake provides access to several wonderful, and popular, areas of the wilderness, including Pipestone Bay of Basswood Lake and the rest of Basswood beyond and the Basswood River (including the scenic and famous Basswood Falls).
