Gabimichigami Lake is a medium-sized lake in the east-central Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. Most of the lake is wide open, with no islands or deep bays. This makes "Gabi" difficult to cross in high winds. Gabimichigami is one of the deepest lakes in Minnesota, with a maximum depth of 209 feet. Extensive areas surpass 150 feet in depth.

Gabimichigami Lake is accessible via Little Saganaga Lake to the southeast, Peter Lake in the east, Agamok Lake and Ogishkemuncie Lake in the west.

The northern half of Gabimichigami was burned in the Cavity Lake Fire of 2006.
