Island River

Method of travel is paddle. Island River has two small portages which lead to the Isabella River. There are many portages and a few rapids along the Isabella River. For more information, please call the Tofte Ranger Station in Tofte at 218-663-7280.

Access point has a small gravel parking lot on the river directly off Forest Service Road 377 (Tomahawk Road). Put in is easy and gentle. Google Map
