The Kekekabic Ponds are a series of three small ponds to the east of Kekekabic Lake. They are connected by short portages to each other and to Eddy Lake to the east. The area was hit hard by the Fourth of July Blowdown in 1999. The ponds make for an intimate paddling experience in an area dominated by larger lakes and the surrounding terrain is occasionally hilly. The Kekekabic Ponds are notorious for having very poor ice conditions in winter.

Going from west to east, the pond sizes are:

  • Pond 1: 4 acres
  • Pond 2: 24 acres
  • Pond 3: 25 acres

None of the ponds have been found to have many fish in them.
