Roy Lake is a small lake near Saganaga Lake and the end of the Gunflint Trail in the eastern BWCAW.

Fishing

Roy Lake contains a relatively abundant population of northern pike.

Natural history

In August of 1976, the Roy Lake Fire burned the entire shoreline of Roy Lake. Since then, a thick forest of young jack pine has regrown.
