Method of travel is paddle. Access is a 90 rod portage to Slim Lake. Portages to three additional lakes. Storm impacted areas. Check fire restrictions just before starting your trip. For more information, please contact the Kawishiwi Wilderness Station in Ely at 218-365-7561.

Gravel parking lot with good number of parking spots. Lake is accessed by a 90 rod portage from parking area. Portage is wide, flat and generally dry.

Hiking trails at various points around the lake. Druid Pines, large stand of ancient white pines, in woods on western shore.

Fishing

Walleye and northern pike.
